Storage

• Keep your silver jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Store pieces individually in soft pouches or lined jewellery boxes to prevent scratching and tangling.
• Avoid storing silver in humid environments, as moisture can accelerate tarnishing.

Maintenance

• Wear your silver jewellery regularly. Ironically, wearing your pieces helps prevent tarnishing because the natural oils in your skin protect the metal.
• If you're not wearing a piece for an extended period, store it properly in the steps listed above and check on it occasionally.

Cleaning

• For light tarnishing, use a soft microfibre cloth to gently polish your jewellery.
• For heavier tarnish, soak your silver in lukewarm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 5–10 minutes, then gently scrub with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse thoroughly under clean running water and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals, which can damage both the silver and any gemstones or delicate settings.
  

Protection

• Remove your silver jewellery before swimming, showering, or exercising, as chlorine, salt water, and sweat can damage the metal and accelerate tarnishing.
• Keep silver away from perfumes, lotions, and hairspray—apply these products before putting on your jewellery.
• Avoid exposing silver to extreme temperature changes, which can weaken settings and cause damage over time.
